Cakie'isms

These are just some funny Riley Cate moments, not necessarily in the order in which they happened:

She just got a big-girl bed ( a twin size with a guard rail). Sunday morning, after her first night in it, I went in to say good morning and she said "Hi, Buddy!"

In the bathtub, we sing "Gonna Wash that Man Right Outta My Hair" from South Pacific. Yesterday morning, she sang, by herself "...and sen him on heh waaay." That would be "and send him on his way."

She likes to sing "Sing a Song" over and over again. And sometimes she adds a few of the other words: simple, loud, etc

Before the big girl bed, she wanted to sleep on her little Disney Princess fold out couch, so she moved around the room more since it was close to the ground. One night at 10 p.m. (after putting her to bed at 8), we went to check on her and she was sitting in Amelia Beth's bouncy seat, all laid back, reading an Olivia book. She just giggled and giggled.

She does a special song and dance when she gets to eat ham and cheese. She just shakes her hinee and sings "ham and cheese ham and cheese" over and over again!

At the Leopard game last Friday night, she kept yelling out and repeating everything on of the football moms yelled: "Be gressive! Get the ball! Get him! Run! Go 12!" Our favorite was after the refs didn't call an obvious penalty on the other team. Football mom yells "It's NOT CHRISTMAS!" Cakie: "It not KISPMAS!"

She loved meeting the mascot. She blew him kisses, held his hand and gave him a knuckle bump.

She told Jason to leave the other day when he tried to lay down with her at naptime.

She loves to yell at our poor dog: "Cheney! Hush!"

Every night at bedtime, she says her prayers: "God, food, prayers, amen." Then she has to name every part of our faces: "Eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, hairs"

The other night during a storm she looked out the window and said "Boy, it rainin'!"

She calls Jason any of these names: Daddy, Jason, J, J. Carlton or Brother Jason

I know not all of you will care about these, but I really just want to have them documented for myself. I'll probably post older ones later...just a warning! Also, we're going in for an Amelia Beth check up in a few hours, so we'll let you know how that's going! Last week (35 1/2 weeks) we were dilated (sp?) to almost a two and 50% effaced.
