My new house!

They're almost done working on my hew house. Here's Mr. Donnie painting Mommy and Daddy's room. Daddy says that hiring a painter is the only way to go! Just between me and you, I don't think Daddy is very good at painting... Here's my new living room. The paint was still wet. It doesn't look so much like Kermit the Frog now that it's dry. They're supposed to start laying the new floor tomorrow but I kinda like the plywood look.
Even Papa Joe got in on the fun! Here he is taking up the old tack board that was holding the mauve carpet in place.
This is the kitchen. Mr. Donnie painted these cabinets a nice white color. He put the doors back on too, which makes it harder to find stuff.
Here's Daddy after a hard afternoon of demolitioning the house. The tool on the right is a Super Wonder Bar, and Daddy says that everybody should own at least one.
I'll keep you posted as the project continues. Hopefully, if everything stays on schedule we'll get to move in this coming weekend!

Another photo shoot!

Daddy did a photo shoot for some friends of ours from church, and when he got done we decided it was my turn to model. I'm getting big now. I'm crawling around on all fours, and I can pull up and stand all by myself. And everything I see goes right to my mouth, which is tons of fun for Mommy and Daddy!

Our day at the lake...

We spent last Friday night and Saturday with Uncle Shawn and Aunt Denise at their new condo in Hot Springs. Uncle Paul, Aunt Dawnella and Owen were there too. We went out on Lake Hamilton for a while Saturday afternoon. It was my first time swimming in the lake, and it was okay. But I loved riding in the boat and watching everybody on the water. Daddy thought this picture had a classic feel to it... Here's me watching Owen drive the boat. I didn't get to drive the boat this time, but there's always next year!

I've moved!

I've been behind on my blogging lately, but it's not entirely my fault. We moved! We live in DeQueen now. Daddy is working with his dad at their church. Daddy is also on the radio! He's the cohost of The Country Breakfast on KDQN, every day from 6-9AM. Here's our family (even Cheney) going for a walk in our temporary neighborhood. We're staying with PapaJoe and Granna until we can move into our new forever house. Daddy says he's living the American dream: 31 years old, married with a child and moved back in with his parents. I don't know what that means, but people laugh when he says it. Don't I always get to live with Mommy and Daddy? Why would I have to move back home? There's so much I don't understand.
We are gettin' rid of our old house next week, but I get the new house the very next week! I'm in charge of laying tile in the bathrooms, on account of I'm so efficient with the grout. Cheney gets to run speaker wire in the attic, on account of she's so little and squirrel-like.

Oh, me and Hudson had our first date today in Texarkana! I'll show you pictures soon! He totally digs me!

Relay for Life

Last weekend I took Mommy and Daddy to the Relay for Life. It was great. There was lots of yummy food and I got to stay up a little past my bedtime. You can kinda see it in my eyes here, but it was all worth it.

Summer is Funner!

Here's me eating pasta and peas. Mommy gave me a spoon to use, and I used it. As you can see, I waved it around in one hand while I fed myself with the other hand. Thanks Mommy! We were having a yard sale, so Mommy and Daddy let me sit in my toy on the porch and watch all the shoppers. It was big fun!
When it got nice and warm outside I got in my pool to cool off. I thought this was an orange donut, but I was sadly mistaken.
I was very busy here.

I Like to Move It Move It...

Here's what I did for Memorial Day...I learned to crawl like an army guy! You know, down on my belly and all. Sometimes I scoot one leg and then pick the other one up to follow it. Either way, it's Saturday now and I'm all over the place!

I have also perfected my sitting up skills. I so totally rock at that! Oh, and you know what else rocks? Brussel sprouts!!!
